School Sports Network runs on a season rhythm: team setup and consent intake before the season, ticket configuration and photographer briefing at the opener, game nights and media vault updates through mid-season, and a clean year-end archive and yearbook export. Every stage is described as it is built today.

Step 1 · Pre-season — team setup, roster, and consent intake

Before the first game, the athletic director and coaching staff configure each team’s hub: the schedule, roster, venue details, and staff permission levels. Consent intake runs at this stage: every family on the roster receives a consent form covering each distinct use case — team hub roster photo, game-day gallery, yearbook export, and sponsor placement adjacency. An athlete with no consent record is excluded from every media surface until consent is recorded. The photographer receives the team roster with per-athlete consent flags before arriving to shoot — so a student who has not consented is not photographed for gallery publication, reducing post-session culling and consent exposure. Consent is set before the season opens, not scrambled at the end of the year after photos have already circulated.

Step 2 · Season opener — first events, ticket configuration, and photographer briefing

The first event of the season is configured in the box-office engine: ticket types, capacity, pricing, and gate layout (reserved gym seating or general-admission stadium). Season passes and multi-game packages go live alongside single-event ticket types in the engine. The concessions POS is configured for the first stand shift. The sponsor inventory shows which packages are active for the season opener. The box-office engine and gate-scan are ready for door check-in at the first event. Step 3 · Mid-season — game nights, media vault updates, and sponsor rotation

Gate-scan handles entrance check-in at each event. After each game, the school photographer uploads the gallery to the media vault; the consent layer automatically locks photos of any athlete without a media-publication consent record before any public view can touch them. A family can update their consent state at any point mid-season; a one-click takedown request removes the photo from the vault within the same session. Score updates are entered by staff and appear on the team hub. Sponsor placements rotate on the configured schedule with impression tracking logged per event. The concessions POS records sales per item per shift for each home event.

Step 4 · Year-end — archive, yearbook export, and consent record handoff

At year-end the media vault holds the full season’s gallery in consent-audited state. Yearbook staff export game-day galleries and senior banners with captions directly from the vault — only photos with an active yearbook-export consent record are included. The consent audit log export delivers a complete record to the athletic director: every consent event, every takedown request, every photo locked or released, timestamped. The school owns this data and can export it to a portable format at any time. Photos are retained for 12 months post-season unless the school archives them; a family can request removal at any point and the photo is purged within the same session.

The box-office engine manages ticket types, capacity, and pricing for every event on a team’s schedule. Season passes and multi-game packages let families commit before the schedule publishes. Reserved-seating configurations support an indoor gym with assigned rows; general-admission capacity limits support a stadium gate. A no-oversell rule is enforced at the data layer — a ticket type with a set capacity cannot sell one beyond that limit by refusing the transaction at the engine, not by disabling a button. There are no public athlete rankings, no recruiting indexes, and no algorithmic popularity scores. Is ticket checkout live? Can we sell tickets to events today?

Not yet. The box-office engine, season passes, multi-game packages, reserved-seating, and gate-scan are built and production-ready — the no-oversell rule, the seating configurations, and the admission-marking logic are all there. The media vault holds every photo uploaded by the school photographer after an event. Each photo is associated with the athlete or athletes it depicts; the vault checks the consent record of every depicted athlete before making the photo visible on any surface. A family who has not consented to gallery publication means every photo of that student in the vault is locked at the data layer, excluded from any view. A one-click takedown from the family or the school removes the photo immediately.
